France has banned plastic cutlery and other things in the quest to reduce their pollution levels. This ban follows the banning of plastic bags that started in July. France has decided that all stores and other purchasing sites have until 2020 to get rid of all their plastic cutlery, or make them out of a biologically sourced materials that can be composed. The things that are being banned in this process are forks, knifes, spoons, plates, bowls and cups.

Current events

Scientists from Pennsylvania state university have announced that they may be able to create a material the when ripped can mend it's self back together and all it needs is some water and a little bit of pressure. The idea may become a reality because they can use some of the chemicals in squids that help them heal them selves quickly, and mix them in with the fabric so that it stitches it's self back together.US Naval Research Laboratory in Washington say that this tech could be used to help protect soldiers and farmers, safe from dangerous materials.

Goal reflection

This weeks goal was self control.I think that I have achieved this goal because I really wanted to work on my language milestone but i still had to write two blog post's. So instead of doing my language milestone I wrote two blog post's one about current events and one was a piece of my writing.And because I wanted to do My language milestone I got my blog post's down faster and actually had 20 minutes to work on it.

 The Temple

It was a boiling hot day in egypt Siwa and I had been walking for hours. I had been lost within the dunes for days and I was running low on water and food. I had left civilization to go on an adventure, to find the lost temple of treasure.

The temple of treasure was a legend but it was a tail that most believed. It began like this.

There once was an emperor who loved his treasure more than he loved his wife. Every day he would just lie in his jewels and gold for an hour. But one day someone broke into the castle and stole heaps of treasure. When the emperor found out he ordered his servants to build a temple far away where no one would find it.

So the servants did as they were told and headed out into the desert to start building the temple, They finished it in two weeks and stashed the treasure inside. Everything was going well until they had to go back. They had done as the Emperor ordered no one could find it the only problem was no one could find there way back either.

Confused with why the servants had not returned the emperor sent guards to go find them.But when they did not return he sent more guards. He did so every day for a month until one day he had no guards left.With the Emperor unprotected the civilians turned against him and killed him. Now the Temple was left somewhere in the desert waiting for someone to claim it’s treasure.

Many had tried to find it but none had succeeded as instead of finding the Temple they found their deaths. Now I had ventured out to find this temple as well and so far it was not looking good. Tired and dehydrated i saw something in the distance it was a lake. I scampered towards it and filled up my drink bottle before lying in it and cooling down.

But that was not all I saw. About twenty metres away stood the Temple. I had found it, the lost temple. I made my way towards it and heaved open the doors.But to my surprise I was not the only one in the Temple.

Dear reader how was there  people in the temple if no one could find it ?

Answer: Not all of the servants were men so some of them ended up having children and they survived of fish from the lake and got water from the lake As well, they also had shelter from storms in the temple.

Current events

Australia has released new five dollars notes that have two raised dots on them.The new notes have two raised dots on them so that blind and visually impaired people can tell what note is which. The new design is all because of a blind at birth boy that had made a petition to get Australia to make notes with something on them that could help blind and visually impaired people tell what note is what easier.The petition gathered 57,000 signatures in 2012 and has presided Australia to make notes with raised bumps on them to help. The bank of England from next year will included raised dots in their 10$ and 20$ notes.

What would i do if I won 1 millions dollars ?

Well First I would pay of all my parents loans.

Then I would take us on holiday, we would go to most of the islands. The island we would go to would be : Fiji, Bora bora, Tonga, and Rarotonga.If there is any money left afterwards I would put it in my bank to help pay for university. But before I put the rest in my bank I would by a doberman pinscher.
