The making:First we got some hot water and dissolved some sugar in it. Then we put some yeast in the mixture. While we let our yeast drop to the bottom of the cup we mixed our drys, in a bowl we put some flour and salt. Then we added our wet mixture and mixed it, before putting it on a floured table and kneading. After kneading for a while we put them into balls and left them to rise for ten minutes while we did our dishes. Ten minutes passed and when we returned we flattened the dough to the size we wanted our bread, then put them in a pan filled with hot oil and leaving them to cook. After about three minutes they were ready to be flipped. We knew that they needed to be flipped because they would go golden on one side. After both sides were cooked we put them on a plate and added some maple syrup to them.
The tasting:The bread tasted different to anything I had ever tasted before, they were weird but good at the same time, and did not taste like normal bread. It was sort of like fried fish but different and was very filling.
Over all I think that they were really fun to make and did not taste that bad either.
