• What is it I hope I will come to understand more deeply through this inquiry?

I would like to understand what affect mining has on nature and what the out come will be on our native animals trees and plants.

• What knowledge might I need to help move towards this understanding?

Where the mines in New Zealand are located and how far away they are from our forest's.

I will also need to know how much petrol the machines are using because if they are near forest's the fumes could be killing the plants.

• What is it I hope to be able to do more competently?  (skills)

I would like to get better at inquiring and asking question, As well as finding and writing down information.

Being me

It will help me with the being me learning power as I have to be myself and be interested in the subject I chose other wise I can not participate properly.

Curiosity

This will help me with curiosity as I have to be curious to ask questions.

This will help me with the creativity learning power as I have to be creative to find answers and solutions to my questions.
