This afternoon John Key has announced that he will be stepping down from being prime minster and bill english will be the new prime minister until the next election. He has said that he will stay MP an will watch over the new prime minister.

A 25m long underground tunnel has been built in Oamaru. The Tunnel is a special one thats only for Blue penguins. Blue penguins are the worlds smallest penguins and are also rare. Oamaru has built this tunnel because to get to the place that they build their nests that have to cross a road. Many blue penguins have been run over try to get the place where they build there nests. Blue penguins are one of the only species of penguin thats population is actually growing.

I work better in this space because there is a white board table to help me with my maths, and there are also posters on the wall to help me with my maths when I forget how to do something. Another reason I like this work place is because it is in a corner so I fell like I'm in my own little bubble.

My lego person has the word animals on it's top because as well a loving animals, one of my learning smarts is nature. I also play the saxophone and love music which is why I have a music folder in my hand. I also have a maths book in one of my hands because maths is my strongest and most favourite subject.

I chose this quote because I have so many new things that I would like to try or take part in at college. And I am going to make it happen by taking every opportunity that I can. I am going to miss school and I wish that it was not the end of the year already but I am also excited for college.

The food production in Syria has dropped so low that 80% of Syrian people either struggle with lack of food or don't have enough money to buy food. Syria has been in war now for quit a while and it is destroying the country.Many famers have had to leave their farms because they are unable to afford tractor and motor bike fuel, seeds and fertilisers. More than seven million people in Syria are food insecure meaning that they don't know when, if, or where their next meal is coming from. The worst affected by this food shortage is east Aleppo which has the  rebel part of the city surrounded by government forces Where the UN has announced that 250,000 to 275,000 civilians still live.
