A 25m long underground tunnel has been built in Oamaru. The Tunnel is a special one thats only for Blue penguins. Blue penguins are the worlds smallest penguins and are also rare. Oamaru has built this tunnel because to get to the place that they build their nests that have to cross a road. Many blue penguins have been run over try to get the place where they build there nests. Blue penguins are one of the only species of penguin thats population is actually growing.
